Mission Statements

First Period

The mission of Mr. Lacking’s first period Language Arts class is that we plan to successfully achieve all of our educational endeavors.  We will attain oratorical accomplishments and eliminate obliviousness.  Our ultimate aspiration is to be molded into flourishing juniors and pass the OGT.  We will strive to reach these goals throughout the entire year.

Second Period

The mission of the second period Creative Writing class is to understand different concepts of writing and acquire a multitude of writing styles and abilities.  We want to do this to be able to cope with a variety of writing within our society.  We will achieve this by being prepared, coming to class on time and putting forth a concentrated effort everyday.

Third Period

This mission of Mr. Lacking’s third period Language Arts class is to prepare ourselves for the future by passing the OGT, accomplish all of our goals, and be successful for a lifetime.  We will do this by staying focused and positive all day and everyday.

Fourth Period

The mission of Mr. Lacking’s fourth period class is to liquidate banter, aggression and tardiness.  We will do this by being prepared and productive.  We will accomplish our goals in order to build the learners of today into leaders of tomorrow.  We will make an attempt from now until the rest of our lives.

Fifth Period

The mission of Mr. Lacking’s fifth period class is to better ourselves by coming to class prepared with all materials needed, better ourselves in Language Arts and pass the OGT.  We will do this by coming to class on time, staying on task and being respectful.  We will stay true to our mission so that we can better ourselves in the long run.
