*5 Subject Spiral Notebook  or  3 Ring Binder with 5 sections

 

* Multi-colored pen (No Pencils!!!)

 

 

Checked for 100 Points per Quarter

 

Course Summary:

 

Deposits will be made to your accounts through a series of vocabulary tests, unit quizzes, group projects, essays, oral presentations, oral reading, acting, organizational notebook, research, class participation, class work, and homework.  Attendance will be a key factor when calculating your earnings.  When you miss school, you miss instruction, you miss activities, and you miss out!!!!!

 

Assignments and Make-up Work/Tests

 

 All homework and class activities are due when designated, unless you have a valid excused absence.  If you were absent on any given day, it is your responsibility to get all make-up work, test, notes, etc.  (Absent one day, you get one day to make it up, etc.)

 

 Daily Activities/Notebook Order -------------- Checked for up to points bi-weekly

 

 1st Section>>Class work, rough drafts, outlines, questions, etc.

 

2nd Section>>Daily Oral Language (correct capital letters, punctuation, spelling errors, rewording with color pen)

 

3rd Section>>Vocabulary related activities (You will give three entries for each category)

 

4th Section>>Journals (You will be given a question or statement dealing with everyday situations.  You will respond to it in 4-6 complete sentences by restating the question within your answer).

 

5th Section>>Notes (anything important for tests, quizzes, essay writing, discussions, other facts)
